Nick contacted us to have his kitchen cabinets painted. Dreams Painting did the cabinets of his parents years ago, so we were recommended. The cabinets were in rough shape and it had old-school hinges and handles. Nick wanted to replace the hinges and handles with more modern ones. The hinges weren't available right away with the same exact size so we decided to spray-paint them black. The handles were available so he purchased the new ones. 

We started removing the doors, handles and hinges. The wood was sanded and cleaned. After applying one coat of primer, we noticed that stain/moisture was coming out on multiple doors/areas. We got a different type of primer and the problem was solved. 

It took two coats of primer and two coats of paint to obtain a solid white color. The new handles and the freshly painted hinges were installed and the doors were put back up. New rubber bumpers were added to the corners of the doors to prevent them from sticking and peeling.
