Dreams Painting had the honor to put a new pretty color to this beautiful "beach home". Being by the water, this project needed to be adequately addressed to ensure a long-lasting quality finish. We devised a plan to handle each task according to the scenario. Lead paint was present so we followed the EPA procedures and rules. After the removal of the peeling paint, primer and silicone were applied, then, a pressure wash was done to the entire house.

After the removal of peeling paint was completed and the siliconized caulk and primer were applied, and after the pressure wash was done, the team started covering the edges of the siding so the paint can be applied using an airless paint sprayer.
Windows, gutters, lights, and everything else near the siding were covered to avoid getting any paint on them. Before the paint is applied, the team is required to perform a meticulous inspection of the surfaces to remove any spider webs, bugs, etc.
A piece of wood was in need of a little love, so we came up with an idea to make it match the original piece. To match the original piece, wood sticks were used, attached with a few nails and tape. Bondo was used to fill it up. It was left to dry for a whole day, then the wood sticks were removed, it was sanded, primer was applied and finished a fresh coat of white, gloss paint.
The ceilings needed to be scraped, siliconized caulk was used to fill up the gaps, one coat of primer was applied and one coat of paint to finish.
Rusty metal primer was applied to the metal railings and it was painted using KRYLON Maximum Rust Protection. The numbers of the house were removed and painted.
