Here are the before and after photos of exterior painting in Brighton, NY
The scope we had for this beautiful home was to power wash the entire house and deck, caulk around the trims, remove the shutters, fix some wood on the deck, remove some nails and old wires, fix some wood on the soffit, and paint siding, trims and shutters, and stain the deck.
We started pressure washing the entire house on a rainy day, because why not get wet once in a while...
The deck was in need of extra care so we took a little bit of extra time to power wash slowly.
After all the surfaces were dried and clean, we started with the preparation process. Holes and cracks were filled, and shutters were removed, cleaned and spray painted. The deck received exhausting preparation work, the peeling paint was scraped, minor holes and cracks were filled, and it was deep cleaned, primed and stained.
She agreed with our recommendation and we went on with it. We started doing the pressure wash on the entire house, taking our time to ensure it was as clean as possible without damaging the wood.
A few days later, we started the preparation process. Peeling paint was removed and primer was applied everywhere it was needed. Cracks and holes were filled using wood filler and siliconized caulk.
AFTER DONE
Two coats of paint were applied to the siding, trims, and doors. One coat of primer and one coat of paint were applied to the deck.
